We have set this page up for the bassets that are in need of a forever home. We raise bassets of our own but whenever possible we do take in rescues. Some of these dogs have been found and not a lot of history is available about the dog. But before a rescue is placed up for adoption, it will be updated on shots, heart worm tested, and spayed or neutered. We screen the dog's disposition before it is placed for adoption. Ages can range from puppies , adults to seniors. We make sure each rescue is placed in a home that we feel will best fit the personalty of the dog. We do have an application that will need to be filled out before an adoption takes place. If we do not have any rescues available please contact us to be placed on a waiting list. Please remember that most rescue dogs have had big change in there life. Time, Patients, Love, and Understanding is a must with any dog or puppy and a rescue dog is No Exception. This page has basset hounds we have rescued, fostered or helped in some way to finding there forever homes.

Emma and Catfish
Emma has found her forever home in Stamford,
New York. Emma is 8 year's old and she is a
Sheltie/Aussie mix. Emma was very well cared
for and her family loved her dearly. But do to
some life changes they where no longer able to
keep her. Emma's family was running out of time
and needed to place her. My family stepped up
and decided they would adopt Emma. We are so
thankful for them for doing that. Emma has won
the hearts of everyone. We hope that someday
everyone can learn to step up in times of need.
No matter the reason and help all animals not
just the one's with pedigrees.
