Hi Maureen,
Valentine was having a ball playing with my 17 year old cat this morning. I had my
daughter run up and grab the camera quick so I could gets some pics of her in action!
She is such a good natured little girl. I couldn't have asked for her to be anymore
sweeter than she is. She is sooooo much fun to be around and I am really very happy
with her. I would highly recommend your pups to any family looking for a very healthy
and very well socialized puppy!!
Thanks,
Cami
Hi Maureen and family,
We got Sophie from you in August 2004. She was a little lemon, very shy and
weighed 29 lbs. She was nearly one year old when we got her. She grew into a
beautiful confident girl and is friendly and happy and loving. We met Stanley &
Rosco's mom yesterday in Goshen and she told me that she got her boys from you.
I want to tell you that my husband was very ill for three months and Sophie never
left him except to eat and go to the bathroom. She stayed with her daddy until the
end and I was so proud of her for her courage, love and support. Sophie was always
our baby and I could never have expected her to take care of him the way she did.
She stood by him as the nurses took him from bed and walked right next to the
wheel chair. She was amazing, almost like someone trained her to be a therapy dog.
When Nick died, she walked away and went right back to herself, playing, eating
and going out for walks with my daughters and with me. Sophie proved herself to be
an exceptional dog, she was shy with people but knew the nurses were there to help
and she allowed them to pet her and to be friends. You should see how beautiful she
is. Thirty Six pounds of solid dog, the most charming face that I ever saw. People
stop to remark about her and I tell them that she is my treasure.
Thank you for letting us adopted her that day................
Sincerely, Agnes Cresce
Hi Maureen,

I wanted to let you know that Willow is doing wonderfully. As a lot of people
know she got very sick in her first few weeks of life. Thanks to you and your
family she was finally able to come home with us on June 2nd. Some breeders
would have given up on her but you saw her special sparkle and pushed her to get
better. Since she's been with us she's doubled her weight! She runs around like
the little monster she is and terrorizes her 2 new basset sisters, Sadie and
Teal. Thank you so much for all that you did for her. She is truly a joy to have
around and she is a perfect new addition to our family.

Thanks again!
Amber, Brett, Sadie, Teal, & Willow
Dear Maureen,

We are having a great time with our boys. As you can see they are taking their
afternoon siesta, watching TV (and it is amazing how aware and attentive they are) and
finally laying on the patio furniture on our deck because it is always 5:00 somewhere.
They have grown leaps and bounds with us and us with them.  If anyone is hesitating
about purchasing a basset hound they shouldn't. They play together, sleep together and
just love to horse around.  And when all of the playing is over, there is no sweeter face
then theirs. You just want to keep squeezing them.
Again, thank you for all you do for these puppies and dogs. You not only have a great
deal of patience but truly a heart of gold.

Hi Maureen and Family,

Just wanted to keep in touch.  The brothers are just great and really growing.
Their first Halloween was just great. They loved the trick or treaters and whined when
they left.  They even helped carve out their pumpkins that they brought out of our
garden.

They are just now learning about the electric fence we installed for them. Can't wait
until they are go loose and run around.

Hope all is well with all of the bassets and of course your family.

UPDATE ON BOGEY AND DUKE:
Thank you Nancy for visiting our site
please visit anytime. Thanks Maureen

Hi Maureen,
Just an update on Gordon.  He has grown so much over the past month.  He
still has a slender waistline, but is just getting solid and long.  We have
bought him a house with a huge yard so he can play and run at will( move in
at the end of this month).  He loves people and other dogs, very social and
outgoing, and is the star of the apartment building (everyone knows Gordon).
He gets so much love and attention and goes everywhere with us.  Thank you
so much for a great dog and a wonderful addition to our growing family.
Thanks Jamie and Gina

PS:  He has claimed my spot on the bed when I'm working.  (Dads at Work)
Maureen and Family,

Well, Its been a week with our precious little girl Isabelle.  She has acclimated herself very
well.  She has us trained to answer to her every want and need.  She has found multiple
places she likes to sleep but her favorite is on the couch curled up next to me.  She is a joy to
have.  I couldn't have asked for a better dog.  Everyone that meets Isabelle immediately
falls in love with her.

I just thought you would like to know how she is doing.  After only a week with her, I can't
imagine how much you must miss her.  She has a way with taking over your heart.  This is why
I hope to send updates to you every so often, as long as it isn't a bother.

I don't know how well you know her previous owners, but if they would like any updates on her
I would be happy to email them or send them any pictures.  It's OK if not, I just wanted to
make it known that option is open if desired.

Again thank you so much, and I have included a couple more pictures for you viewing pleasure.
