| What you will receive when getting a puppy from Tompkins Bassets.... 1. A pre-spoiled very well socialized and loved puppy. 2. Puppy will have first set of shots and proper worming's. 3. Been seen and given a complete examination health certificate from our vet. 4. A contract and heath guarantee. 5. Puppy will be Akc registered (please not all of our puppies are on spay/neuter contracts). 6. A gift basket with toy's and treats and puppy blanket. 7. Iams/Eukanuba Puppy packet. 8. A package of the puppy food we are feeding our puppies. 9. Information sheets on bassets, care. |
| Please read through before contacting us. We are a small kennel and only have puppies when we have planned a litter. We do not breed all year and have limited breedings. We are not a puppy mill we breed for quality not quantity. (Please note: We will no longer be sending an application unless we have first received a deposit (NO Exceptions). Pricing of puppies will depend on the linage of the breeding line. We have a NY State Tax ID and are required by the state of New York to charge tax on all puppies sold in New York. Any one having a problem paying NY tax take it up with the State we do not control taxes. All prices quoted will include NY State Taxes in 2009. As for anyone who thinks we are tying to (Capitalize) on the breed and does not agree to our pricing please look else where.) When a litter is born we try and post pictures as soon as possible. We will post if a puppy is available or sold. Even if a puppy is sold we will still post it so that the hole litter is able to be seen. We will only post a puppy as sold if we have first received a $50 non-refundable deposit and have an approved application. We will not place a puppy on hold until a deposit and application has been received no exceptions. Puppies can be visited when we feel they are at a safe age for outside contact usually between 4 to 6 weeks of age. We only allow new owners and there family's that are adopting one of our puppies to visit. All visits must be made in advance. Please note we do not have open hours of operation and we do not entertain window shoppers we are not pet store we are a private kennel. We pick family's and homes we feel are best suited for our puppies. If you are interested in one of our puppies please email or call us. When visiting please do not bring other pets. We do not allow other pets for the safety of our dogs and puppies as well as your own pet. Thank you for your cooperation! Puppies will be ready to leave for there new homes after 9 weeks of age. All puppies must be paid in full before leaving. Payments can be made through Paypal if paying final balance with Paypal please contact us so we can send a invoice. We do not except personal checks for final payment. Please note that if a breeding is smaller then expected or is not a success all deposits will go towards the next planned breeding. |
